Past President

Chari serves as the Manager of Development Research for the University
of Missouri-Columbia’s Office of Development Research. She works with a
staff of five to assist in the development efforts of over twenty
specializations and programs. In that capacity, she coaches three
Research Analysts to proactively identify potential donors, compile
informational memos, and assist development staff with special projects.
Prior to obtaining the position as Manager, Chari was a Research Analyst
and a former Administrative Assistant for the Research department.
Preceding her work at the university, Chari was employed as a travel
consultant for more than four years.
In addition to being an employee of the University of Missouri-Columbia,
Chari is also an alumna and student of the university. She received an AB
in Political Science in 2001 and is currently pursuing a Master of Public
Administration degree with an emphasis in public management.
Chari's participation in APRA MO-KAN began as a member of the
conference committee for the 2002 APRA MO-KAN Regional Conference.
She formerly served as Membership Director for APRA MO-KAN and is
currently serving as President.
